While students are in the ELA, I will be using Classcraft. Like ClassDojo, Classcraft is a management tool. However, it is designed for the older students. Students are placed in teams up to six classmates and each student picks a role as a Warrior, a Healer, and a Mage. Each role as a specific duty and power that helps their teammates. Please ask your child to log in and show you their points. If a student loses all of their Health Points, they are summoned into academic battle. They will have to answer a series of questions to restore their health points. On the other hand, their teammate may also volunteer to absorb their points.  As of December 2016, your child is able to purchase wardrobe, additional powers, and pets with the points they have earned.
