The end of third Quarter is fast approaching. Over the quarter past it was ALL THINGS POETRY:
- We had read and analyzed poems.
- We have learned about the structure of poetry and how it is different from prose.
- We read different types of figurative language and discussed how we can not take it literally.
- We have written a poem.
- We have written an explanatory essay comparing three different poems.
- We have answered comprehension questions related to poetry.
We have completed Galileo Benchmark 3. Students will have a chance to select their standards for 4th quarter Action Plans.
