Teacher Bio

Welcome to First Grade!

I am originally from Illinois. My family and I have been living in Arizona for almost 13 years now. While this summer was truly different from most other summers, my family and I still found creative ways to have fun. I am excited and ready to get this year started!

This year will be my seventh year teaching at Paseo Pointe Elementary School. I have had the wonderful opportunity to work for the Laveen School District for 12 years. During these years I have had an awesome opportunity to work with many different grade levels. It has been an amazing experience and privilege to grow close to many families in our community. Being a parent myself, I try to bring a sense of home away from home into the classroom and treat your children as I would appreciate my own children being treated and cared for.

Education

My undergrad degree is from the University of Illinois. My graduate degree is from Grand Canyon University.
