ELA
We will be working on the standard of asking and answering questions for the next two weeks. We will introduce one question word each day – who, what, when, where, why, how. Then, Thursday and Friday of next week will be spent reviewing and reading texts and students formulating each of these questions. Please work at home on having your child ask questions that begin with these words!
Our high-frequency words this week are: play, look, good, where, who. (Students need to be able to read, write and use these words in a sentence orally.)
Math
We are continuing our work with composing and decomposing numbers to 10. However, they will be modeled in number bond form.
Social Studies
No Social Studies this week.
Science
We are working on living things and how they grow! We will be doing some extension activities this week and next.
