Hello Parent/Guardian(s),

Most of you know might know me as Ms. Theresa here at Rogers Ranch. I have been apart of this amazing school/district since 2017. The moment I completed my first year as a Special Education Paraprofessional, I knew this was the career path I wanted to pursue. In 2019 I went to Grand Canyon University to pursue a degree in education and fast-forward, I now officially have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have worked 5+ years within a self-contained special education classroom and have been able to further my education to become a certified educator. While pursuing this degree there are values and commitments we are vowed to take. Of course, this was no hesitation for me. As an educator I believe that all students have the ability to learn with the provided proper supports and strategies that the child needs to be successful. As an educator I believe it is of the upmost importance to provide an environment for my students to learn about the diversity of others, while also learning to embrace their own culture and interact with their peers as well as other within the community. In the classroom it is important that students learn about the importance of fairness over equality. We will work on exercises that promote equity in all areas of instruction. As an educator, qualities that I possess that make this the perfect career for me is my compassion, dedication, empathy, and advocacy for all my students! I honor all commitments and make my students my priority. If you ever need me, please do not hesitate to give me a call, or shoot me an email! If I do not respond immediately please know I am either occupied with a student, or in a meeting but will get back to you as soon as possible.

Work hours are Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.
