General Classroom Information

Dress Code: All white, navy, or light blue shirts with collar. No logos on the shirt.  Any undershirts must be white. This may include, but is not limited to, a polo shirt or dress shirt.  Solid navy blue or tan khaki slacks, shorts, skorts, skirts, or jumpers. No logos on slacks, shorts, skorts, skirts, or jumpers. No blue jeans or blue jean shorts.  Shorts under their skirts, provided they do not show. Sweatpants and stretch pants are not permitted. Shirts must be worn tucked in at all times.  During the colder months, students may wear all navy, white, gray, or light blue sweatshirts or sweaters in class. Sweatshirts and sweaters must be worn over a uniform shirt.

Attendance: In order for students to learn at their best and become a global learner, attendance is expected throughout the school year, whether it be online or in-person. Students will line up when the morning bell rings at 7:50am. Students are considered tardy if they are not in the classroom by the final bell at 8:00 a.m.

Student I.D.s: All students are expected to wear their school I.D. on a lanyard while on campus every day for safety purposes as well as for lunch, riding the school bus and checking out library books.

Closed Campus: Parents/ Visitors are expected to sign in at the front office with a valid state I.D. in order to be on campus at any time.

Birthdays: Please make arrangements for your child’s birthday at least one week ahead of time.  Your child’s birthday treat must be one of the following: Popsicles, Rice Krispy Treats, cookies (2 max) fruit snacks, Ice cream cups with spoons, fruit, donut holes, brownies or mini ice cream sandwiches. Cupcakes are not permitted. Please do not send beverages, toys, balloons, goodie bags or party favors to school.                Any items sent to school that are not on the Birthday Treat List will be returned to you at the end of the day.

Conferences:  Parent/Teacher conferences are held the week of October 21st & 22nd and January 13th & 14th. However, I welcome conferences at any time throughout the year per parent request.  You can schedule a conference before or after school by contacting me  through phone call or email.
