Classroom Updates

This is a great time to come onto campus to meet your child’s 5th grade teachers, pick up any important forms, and ask any questions you may have. See you all on Thursday!!

Welcome to the first day of the 2022-2023 school year!

Meet the Teacher Night for the 2022-2023 school year is Thursday August 4th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This is a great time to meet your child’s three teachers as well as pick up important information. I hope to see you all there!

Today is the day! It is the first day of 5th grade!! School doors open at 7:30 AM!

Thursday, July 29th is our Meet the Teacher night! The event is from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. I look forward to meeting all the new 5th graders.

Wednesday, August 5th will be the first day that students will go through the full day rotation cycle.

Below is the schedule:

Block 1: 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM

Break #1: 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM

Block 2: 9:45 AM to 11:15 AM

Lunch: 11:15 AM to 12:00 PM

Block 3: 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM

Specials: 1:30 PM to 2:10 PM

Student Orientation will be on Tuesday, August 4th starting at 8:00 AM. It will be on a Google Meets. All the materials and link to the LIVE lesson will be posted on Google Classroom.

Tuesday’s class will only cover the material for student orientation. This means that it will be short day for the students.

Parent Orientation is on Monday, August 3rd from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. It will be through Google Meets posted on Google Classroom. Your student has a link in their gmail through the Laveen District that will help them get setup with Google Classroom.
