Teacher Bio

! My name is Mr. McDuff and I will be your 8th grade English Language Arts teacher this year. A little about myself: I was born in Zimbabwe  and I have been moving around the United States and the world ever since.  I have a bachelor’s degree in History and two master’s degrees in Secondary Education and Anthropology.   I have a deep passion for learning and hope to share that with students. I have two little Tigers of my own, a daughter in 4th grade and a son in 1st grade. Outside of school, I am an avid musician, gardener, and outdoor enthusiast.  I also love to cook, bake, and expand my palate with new cuisines.

I have lived in Laveen for eight years and this will be my fifth year teaching at Vista.
