As a teacher, I strive to build my classroom on rigor, relevance, and relationships. Hopefully you will find this class challenging, yet relevant, and that you will feel supported by your teacher and classmates.
This year in our class, we will increase our depth of understanding as to what it means to become an engaged reader and writer that can communicate their unique vision and ideas to the world. We will read short stories and novels, as well as focus on informational texts like current events and historical documents.
