There are many ways to stay active while out of school. It’s important to get at least 60 minutes of exercise everyday. Here are some ideas!

Go for a hike. There are many hiking travels near Laveen. Check out the South Mountain Park.

Have a dance competition. There are many options on Youtube. Search for “Just Dance” or “Fortnite Dances” and pick your favorite songs to get moving.

Its a great time be outside in the shade or water. Play catch with a baseball, swim, shoot some hoops on the basketball court or learn a new non-contact sport.

Not all exercise needs to be in the form of sports and running around. You can also do chores around the house, take your dog for a walk or play with your siblings.

You can also walk to school to pick up breakfast and lunch! Breakfast will be served for free from 7:30-9:30 and lunch from 11:00-1:00! FREE for children 18 and under!
