Teacher Bio

This is my second year teaching at MC Cash and my 27th year teaching!  My entire life has been spent in Joliet, Illinois as a high school math teacher.  We moved to Arizona in 2019 and have loved every minute of life in the desert.

I earned a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Saint Francis, a M.S. in Educational Administration from Governors State University, and finally a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction from Loyola University Chicago.  I have spent 16 years in a high school classroom teaching remedial math through Pre-Calculus.  In addition, I spent 9 years as a curriculum director working with over 80 high school math teachers.

I am excited to teach 6th grade again this year and look forward to a successful year of teaching and learning mathematics!
