About Mr.Beder ….

Come from outside of Cleveland, Ohio (Home of the World Champion Cleveland Cavaliers). I lived about 20 minutes outside of downtown Cleveland, Ohio in a city called Solon. I graduated from Solon High School in 2007, while in high school I was an active member of the Varsity football team. Attended Arizona State University for my undergraduate degree, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (focusing on Communications and Justice Studies).

Upon graduating from Arizona State University, I returned home to Solon where I began coaching middle school football and substitute teaching within my old school district. This is where I fell in love with teaching and giving back to my community. I returned to school at Baldwin Wallace University, where I completed their Adult/Continuing Education Teaching Licensure program. I received my teaching license from the State of Ohio in the Spring of 2015 in Secondary Education for Social Studies. While in school, I continued to coach football at Solon and then softball at some local high schools in my area.

After receiving my teaching degree, I was unable to find a full time Social Studies job, I was able to secure a full time security job at my old high school. It was a great learning experience, and made great friendships. I left the security job at the end of the school year with hopes of getting a full time teaching position for the upcoming school year.

I was subbing as both a teacher and security guard for the school district in Ohio when I got the call about the opening at Laveen. I’m excited to begin my second half of the year and continue to work with a wonderful teaching staff and administration here.
