Teacher Bio

My name is Erika Lopez and I am so excited to be teaching first grade at Vista del Sur.  I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2004 and received my teaching license.  I then finished my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in reading in 2013 and received my reading endorsement.  This is my sixteenth year of a teaching, and my eighth year teaching first grade. I continue to be a life long learner through professional developments, educational classes and lots of online learning. I look forward to helping my students grow as learners this year!
