Teacher Bio

Hi! I am Mrs. McKay. I am so excited to be your math teacher for the 2022-2023 school year! This is my third year teaching at Vista and my seventeenth year teaching in Arizona. I have taught grades 2, 4, 5, and 6, and have also been an instructional coach for teachers. I am very passionate about education and believe there is no limit to what my students can achieve!

I was born and raised right here in Arizona. I am married and have two children, a 9-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son. I enjoy cooking, baking, playing board games, and spending time with my family. We are big baseball fans, so you can often find us at Arizona Diamondbacks games during baseball season.
