Teacher Bio

My name is Dulce Bejarano and I’m very excited to be entering my 12th year teaching math here at Cheatham Elementary. I love working in this community and have enjoyed being present for all the positive changes Laveen has gone through over the past few years.
I grew up in Yuma, Arizona and have lived in the Phoenix-area ever since attending college at Arizona State University where I graduated in 2012 with a degree in Elementary Education. I just recently earned my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
Aside from teaching, I enjoy reading, music, and I have a great love of animals – especially my 3 cats.
