About Mrs. Pineda
- This is my 3rd year at Rogers Ranch.
- Favorite subject is science! Then reading, math, Social Studies. I love to learn.
- Favorite color is green.
- I collect rocks. Some I paint, others I just like to look at.
- If I ever won a large amount of money playing the lottery, the first thing I would purchase would be an English bulldog puppy.
Materials Needed:
- Blue and black pens
- Highlighters: yellow, pink,
- Earphones (Dollar Store has some)
- pencil and sharpener, or bring mechanical pencils
- Student assigned textbooks

All cellphones will be contained in students’ backpacks. Cellphones should not be visible in class, in hallways, etc.,

Welcome back everyone!! This is going to be an exciting year as we have many fun topics to cover! We will be starting the year with life science. Second quarter will cover topics on physical science. Third quarter will be about earth science topics. Fourth quarter we will review all science content from grades 6th through 8th in order to prepare for our state assessment.

Science fair projects are scheduled sometime during the 3rd and 4th quarter. It is never too early to start thinking of your project.

Please come to class ready to participate and share your thinking. Our new curriculum will require you to think and then collaborate with your classmates.
