My name is Mr. Wescott and I am excited to be your 7th grade math teacher for the 2023/24 school year. I have been working in the Laveen School District for 13 years but overall I have been teaching for 23 year. I am looking forward to helping your child learn math and grow throughout the school year. In Math for the first half of the year we will be focusing on number sense and pre-algebra material. During the second half we move into geometry, probability, and statistics. I look forward to opening your child’s mind to math because it has been a passion of mine since I was their age.
